These terms may only be modified if an exception is explicitly agreed upon before the commission begins.

I - General

1. Artist rights

1.1 Streaming and Promotion I By commissioning me, you agree that I may stream the creation process on Twitch, share sneak peeks, and showcase the completed commission on my social media and portfolio. This is the default unless an NDA has been purchased or we have agreed otherwise in advance.1.2 Portfolio I may display the commission in my portfolio or as an example of my work.

2. Process

2.1 Payment and Commencement of Work. Work on your commission will begin only after I have received the full payment.2.2 Initial Sketch and Revisions Upon payment, you will receive an initial sketch. Significant revisions and corrections can be made at this stage for free. After the sketch phase, 2 minor changes are included at no additional cost. Additional changes cost €10 each, unless they are needed to correct a misunderstanding on my part.2.3 Completion After completion, the final files will be provided via Google Drive. Files may be deleted after 14 days, so please download and back up your files as soon as possible.

3. Duration

3.1 Duration The time required for commission completion can vary significantly, depending on the complexity and type of commission. it ranges from several weeks to multiple months. You may request an update of your commission at any time. In the event that a commission takes longer than planned/discussed, you will be promptly informed in advance.3.2 Deadline Agreement and Fee Deadlines need to be discussed and mutually agreed on before the payment. Please note that tight deadlines, depending on their proximity, may incur additional fees of 50€-200€, which will also be discussed and agreed upon in advance. A deadline of one week or less is considered a rush.

4. Payment

4.1 Payment Method Payments will be processed via PayPal Invoice. Other Payment methods are not (yet) available. Prices are listed in EUR and may vary depending on complexity.4.2 Payment Confirmation Please do not send payment until your commission slot has been confirmed and an invoice has been provided.

5. Refund policy

Refund policies may vary for each commissioned work.Full refunds are available if I am unable to begin your commission or if you cancel before work has started.
If a deadline was agreed upon and I fail to meet it, the deadline fee may be refunded. Refunds outside of these circumstances are not guaranteed and will be handled at my discretion.If you have an issue with your commission or payment, please contact me before initiating a chargeback so we can try to resolve the issue.

6. SKEB-LIKE illustrations

6.1 Submission of Requests
When ordering a Skeb-style illustration, you may submit your request and payment information through the designated contact method.All requests are reviewed at my discretion and may be rejected if they do not follow my Skeb-style commission rules or fall outside of my comfort zone.Please provide all necessary references, instructions, and important details when submitting your request. Once a commission has been accepted, additional requests or changes may not be taken into consideration.6.2 Communication and Revisions
Communication regarding Skeb-style commissions is not permitted during or after the creation process.Skeb-style commissions do not include revisions.Corrections may only be made in the case of major mistakes on my part, such as incorrect character features or other significant errors. Changes based on personal preference, dissatisfaction with the final result, or a different interpretation of the original request will not be addressed.

6.3 Skeb Restrictions
Specific deadlines cannot be requested for Skeb-style commissions.Private commission requests (NDA) are not accepted. Completed Skeb-style illustrations may be published at my discretion on my social media and/or portfolio.6.4 Usage Rights
Skeb-style illustrations include personal- and promotional usage rights.The client may use the artwork to promote themselves and their online persona.Commercial use, including merchandise, paid content, or content placed behind a paywall, requires a Commercial License at 2× the original commission price.6.5 RefundsRefunds are not available after payment has been made.By submitting a request, you confirm that you understand and agree to the Skeb-style workflow, including the lack of revisions, communication restrictions, creative freedom, estimated delivery time, and usage terms.

II - Vtuber Models

The terms below apply specifically to Vtuber model commissions. Where applicable, the general terms may still apply unless a specific Vtuber term states otherwise.

7. Vtuber Process

7.1 Communication Ongoing discussions, work-in-progress updates, and related matters will be held through Discord or Twitter for convenience purposes. Please provide a character reference, preferably in the form of a reference sheet, to avoid misunderstandings during the Model-making.7.2 Publication I may stream the creation process and share WIPs or sneak peeks as usual, unless an NDA has been purchased. The completed Vtuber model will be published on my website after the client's debut, or one year after completion if no debut takes place. You may use the WIPs I provide to promote your debut.7.3 PSD File Review Prior to Rigging Before rigging begins, I must review and approve the PSD to ensure it is properly prepared for rigging.

8. Rights

8.1 Commercial Use Your Vtuber model may be used for commercial purposes, including streaming, advertising, merchandise, and social media promotion.8.2 PSD and LIVE2D File Usage You may request and use the PSD and Live2D files for future work on your model, such as additional assets. Publicly sharing these files is prohibited. Providing the PSD or Live2D files does not transfer copyright ownership of the artwork.8.3 Modification The original rigger may make necessary modifications for rigging purposes. Any other modifications to the model require my permission.8.4 Changes after completion You may request up to 6 rigging corrections for errors discovered within 3 months of completion.

III - Rights and Copyright

The following licensing terms apply to standard illustration commissions unless otherwise stated. Skeb-style and Vtuber commissions have specific usage terms outlined in their respective sections.When you purchase a commission from Shaovie, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the digital artwork for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not resell, sublicense, or distribute the digital artwork to third parties without the explicit permission of the artist or the appropriate commercial license.I, Shaovie, retain all rights to the artwork. This includes the right to promote, publish, display, and share the artwork on my website, social media, and other platforms.You, the commissioner, have the following rights:• Personal use of the artwork (including printing for yourself)
• Rights to your character(s) but not the artwork itself
• Personal and promotional use with proper credit (Art by @shaovie)The following uses are not permitted without appropriate permission or licensing:
• Commercial use without a license
• Claiming authorship of the artwork
• Unauthorized alterations
• Any AI-related use or trainingStandard (1×)
Personal and promotional use is allowed. This includes public social media, Twitch/YouTube content, websites, advertising, and other non-paywalled uses.Commercial (2×)
Includes Standard rights plus paid content, merchandise, products, and other commercial uses.
